Scheherzade Arabic issue going from 3.0 to 3.1 وَلَا

Using Scheherzade in web/css/html using .woff

Upto v3.0 the arabic word “وَلَا” renders OK. but starting v3.1 the rendering is off. Pictures attached. Do I have to configure any font settings to correct this?

Thanks for the report. Are you just seeing this problem in css using woff?

I’m not seeing the problem in Scheherazade New v3.3 in Word or LibreOffice. Could you share your css?

Using v3.100 and the woff files I’m getting:

  font-family: ScheherazadeBW;
  src: url(ScheherazadeNew-Bold.woff);

Oops! I had not set the css property direction : rtl - so this is fixed on 3.1 and 3.3. I am not sure how 3.0 and before were working correctly without the direction property!
Beautiful font!
I have one more minor issue about some marks/superscripts.

I need to know specifically which mark you are having problems with. Otherwise we cannot fix it.
