Possibility to mark 2 base forms?

Hi, I’m wondering if there is a way in WeSay that I have not yet found to allow the marking of two BaseForms for one entry. Of course normally a word would have one root/stem that would go in the BaseForm field. But for all the many compounds we encounter, which by definition a compound consists of more than one free morpheme, it is unclear if there is any way to mark the BaseForm so that it could be listed as a subentry under both parts of the compound. In FLEx, I know both could be listed as components. But in WeSay, can this be done? Or at this time, must it be saved for final editing in FLEx by a consultant or skilled user in that software? Thanks for any suggestions.

Dear Bethany,

I recommend that you go the route you hinted towards at the end of your question, namely “save for final editing in FLEx by a consultant or skilled user”.

Hope this helps!

Chris
