New keyboard from an existing keyboard

Hi, I wanted to know, when creating a new keyboard from an existing one (i.e. using it as a template), do you have to delete the kpj.user file? What’s the correct procedure?

No, you shouldn’t have to delete the .kpj.user file, but it doesn’t hurt to do so. Keyman Developer will recreate the file when it needs to.

Currently, the hardest part of copying an existing keyboard is renaming all the files, and we hope to improve this in Keyman Developer 18!
