I recently purchased a 2TB external hard disk and was expecting it to behave just like any other USB drive when plugged in (i.e. myWorkSafe offers to back up to it). However, nothing happened at all. In fact even when I manually started myWorkSafe, it refused to use this external drive as a backup target.
A little bit of investigation showed that the external USB hard drive had been identified as a SCSI Disk:
and even though it knows it is attached via USB, myWorkSafe doesn’t seem to recognize it:

Does anyone know how I can either (i) convince myWorkSafe to use this drive, or (ii) get my system to treat this external drive as a “normal” USB drive so that myWorkSafe can use it?
