Making non-UNICODE font keyboard in Keyman Devloper

I have a script called Ruanghiak to write Rongmei language (nbu). This one is non-UNICODE. Can I make key board for this script for Windows and Android?

Hello @Gaikhuanlung,

Yes, you can create a non Unicode keyboard in Keyman Developer. You need to replace begin Unicode with begin ANSI in the .kmn source file. However, this keyboard won’t be supported on Android and iOS devices and Keyman also doesn’t support it in keyboards repository.

You are welcome to build and distribute the keyboard for yourself. We would not want a hacked ANSI keyboard in our Keyman github repository.
