Is it possible to set the shift layer to be active when a the keyboard opens? That is how most keyboards work. It strikes me that I could switch ‘shift’ and ‘default’ to kludge this but that seems fraught with pitfalls.
Hi @rowbory, this is a definite gap in our current touch layouts. The good news is that we plan to tackle this in version 15.0 properly. Have a look at the specifications:

Those are the two parts we need to implement. These two specs are not 100% finalized yet, as we have feedback to incorporate, but I’d love to hear your thoughts on them. We are doing planning next week on this functionality, so this is good timing!
