How to make the cover photos transparent?

When I add our personalized cover photo, it appears in a white square with the Bloom light blue color around it. How can I create a cover that is entirely blue (or entirely white) like the Bloom cover choices in the AOR? One idea I had was to create a PDF file and then edit the cover using Adobe Acrobat Plus 2017 for editing PDF files. It works but is very tedious and time consuming. Is there an easier way? Thank you.

Hi Jacqueline,
To get image transparency, you can do one of two things:

  1. Give Bloom a PNG image that has transparency already
  2. Give Bloom a PNG with true white for the areas that should be transparent.

The JPG format does not support transparency at all.
