How do we organize our language's books on BloomLibrary?

I see that the Kanuri, Manga books are arranged in 4 topics, Animal Stories (1 book), Community living (1 book), Health (2 books) and Other (42 books). How can we ‘tag’ books or somehow better sort them between categories? How do we create a category for Bible stories? I’d be happy to read instructions, but I can’t find any using the search words I have guessed at.

Hi Barbie,
Bloom Enterprise subscribers can get the Bloom Librarian to create and customize bookshelves. If you aren’t already a subscriber, contact enterprise@bloomlibrary.org.

If we have an Enterprise subscription, what do we do in order to get the Bloom Librarian to create bookshelves?
Also, do these bookshelves only apply to the list in Bloom Library online, or would they show up in the Bloom Reader on mobile phones?

Hi Julie,
You can write to librarian at bloomlibrary.org.

Also, do these bookshelves only apply to the list in Bloom Library online, or would they show up in the Bloom Reader on mobile phones?

When people look for a book in their language, they will see the same organization as what you would see from a browser on Bloom Library. But if they download a book onto their phone, they will see it in a list of all the books they’ve downloaded, without organization.

The default categories you are seeing are controlled by the book’s Topic, which you can set (before uploading) using a “Choose Topic” link near the bottom right of the front cover. There is already a “Bible” category and several others besides Animal Stories, Community living, and Health. You could re-upload some of the “other” books (if you are the uploader) after setting a more appropriate topic. (You can find more information in Bloom’s help by searching for “topic”.)

Ok, thanks, I will think about how my books could be organised and maybe contact the librarian.

Yes, I am aware of that and do that, but it doesn’t automatically have them sorted by the book topic in Bloom Library.
