How can I re-use the recorded audio in a different book

In a Team Collection, we have a long (69 page) Bible story that we decided to break into 3 short stories. But we didn’t communicate this to the recordist, and he recorded the audio for the long story instead of the 3 parts. What is the best way to re-use the audio from the long story in the 3 short stories so he doesn’t have to re-record the same story text?
One idea is to start with the long story and make copies a, b, and c. Then delete the section of pages we don’t need in each story. Is there a better way?

Hi Greg.

I gather that the recording was done directly into the book using Bloom’s Talking Book Tool, rather than being recorded using (say) an audio recorder and later imported into Bloom?

Under that assumption, your idea to duplicate the book twice makes sense to me. Before proceeding to delete pages, be sure to rename the duplicates in such a way that there in no confusion.

Hi Colin,
Yes, the recording was done directly into the book using Bloom’s Talking Book Tool.
I appreciate your help.
Blessings,
Greg
