Can more than one person work on a book?

Suppose person A has published a book to the Library. Can person B (who has no access to person A’s computer) make edits to the book?
Similarly, if person A is no longer working on a collection, how can someone else continue? If the collection files are copied to a differnet computer and a different registered user publishes an existing book, will it update the existing book or will a new one be created?
Thanks

Hi Alastair,

Suppose person A has published a book to the Library. Can person B (who has no access to person A’s computer) make edits to the book?

Yes. Large book projects use our Team Collections feature to collaborate on books.

If the collection files are copied to a different computer and a different registered user publishes an existing book, will it update the existing book or will a new one be created?

Currently, BloomLibrary.org doesn’t have a way of knowing that Mary has permission to update/overwrite a book uploaded by Bob, so we recommend that large book projects create a single BloomLibrary.org account for the purpose of uploading, and have everyone use that.

We are now working on an option that will allow us to associate accounts with BloomLibrary.org bookshelves so that the system will know that Mary has permission to update, delete, and change settings on all books in a bookshelf, even those uploaded by Bob.
