Can I use the icons as part of icons for my mobile app?

Hi there.

I loved your SVG icons for the different Google place types and I have included them in my app design.
This app will be available for both iOS and Android through the Apple and Google Play store.

I have checked through your license and it seems to be ok that I can use them but I would be much more comfortable if I could get some official clarification on this.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Sorry, but I’m not sure which icons you’re referring to. Can you be more specific?

Where is that from? I can’t tell. Please give me a URL of the software that contains that icon.

Ah I see now. That collection of icons is not ours. The SVG fonts version of them seems to be licensed under the SIL Open Font License (OFL). According to the license you’re able to use them and bundle them in software. See the OFL-FAQ for more detailed information.
