Yiddish keyboard on chromeOS - chromebook

I have installed the keyman Yiddish pasek keyboard on my Chromebook. The keyboard produces Yiddish characters in the app’s workspace, but not in any text app, say for instance, Google Keep. It seems the problem is that the keyboard is not installed in chrome OS like it does in the windows PC.

Since the product is Android based, I thought that it would work like all the other Android apps I have on the Chromebook.

I could cut and paste from the workspace to my apps, but this seems a bother when one could be typing directly in the target language.

Any suggestions are welcome

Welcome to the community @djl1950,

Please refer to the topic below for more information on Keyman for ChromeOS.

The Copy/Paste workaround you mentioned is going to be the solution for now.
Thank you!
