When I upload my book to Bloom, I get a message saying there is a problem because I’m using Verdana font so it can’t be embedded in free books and that the Read and download options will not be available. I have checked and changed every single editable field and I am NOT using Verdana anywhere. Actually now that I check, Bloom is permitting the READ and download options on BloomLibrary.org even with the message saying it won’t. Is this going to be a problem for me, or is it just the message that’s perhaps wrong?
Go ahead an share a link to the book and we’ll get right on it.

Thanks!
So the book on bloomlibrary.org still has the default for Verdana:
I apologize for the really bad naming here, “Book Making” could mean anything! We’ll improve that the next time we refresh this part of the interface.
Anyhow, why is this needed? It is because, even if you set all the “styles” in the book to use other fonts, things like the page numbering will still try to use that default font.
Please try changing that setting and then let us know how it goes.

Ah, that was it! No more warning message. Thanks so much! I was looking for those settings, but was looking in the “book settings” and not the main settings so assumed I couldn’t change anything. Thank you so much for the help!
