Today I was trying to help a couple of MTTs install reading app builder. After the install, the program wouldn’t open (instead windows box appeared asking what program to use to open JAR file). I realized the Java SE developer kit hadn’t been installed, so we installed that on the first computer and the app builder program opened. On the second computer, the MTT clicked on audacity as the program to open JAR files, and after that I haven’t been able to get reading app builder to open. I tried changing the “opens with” program to Java, and I’ve uninstalled and re-installed everything, but I still can’t get the program to open. Has anyone come across a similar problem with RAB or the other app builder programs? or have any idea what I can do about it?
