KAB does a nice job. Please add an option to turn prediction on/off. That will be good for languages that are still “developing” and whose lexical corpus is yet to be standardized. Sometimes it’s faster to type the local language with the prediction turned off.
This is very useful feature.
I want to see that feature in upcoming update.
It seems the prediction feature has been completely removed. The keyboard app I built contains two keyboard layouts and a lexical model, but while using the app, there’s no prediction, nor an option to toggle it on/off.
This is still the case in KAB 10
It works for me now. It seems you have to be very careful to specify all the right ethnologue codes (BCP 47) in KeyMan Dev and in KAB and make sure they line up exactly between Lexical Model and the keyboard and then the suggested words will appear. For a long time it didn’t work on fresh installs but did work on a phone where I’d installed an earlier version of my keyboard. If you post a link to the appdef file I might be able to see a problem. Not sure.
