The "geezbrhan" keyboard or the Geez language keyboard seems not fixed as a standard status

I am working with “Max MSP” software language. When I ask the system to compile as a standard Geez language, the system is not allowing to do.
This problems show when there are similar statements:
[slotinfo [1 [type text] [name english]] [2 [type text] [name french]] [3 [type text] [name italian]]]
When I ask to use the “geezbrhan” the system is not working at all. And when it works it uses different approach from the other 3 languages. Here is the sample I used to work with:
[slotinfo [1 [type text] [name english]] [2 [type text] [name french]] [3 [type text] [name italian]] [4 [type text] [name geezbrhan]]]
What should I do to come to a normal solution? "may be use the Abyssinia SIL, or Geez only? What can be the possible solution, please?

I’m not quite sure what happed here. What do you expect to happen when using Ge’ez Berhan keyboard in Max MSP?

I tried typing this keyboard in the software and it outputs characters correctly.

Dear Nguonnyny, what you said is correct and the software geezbrhan works properly. I am proud of being steady.
My question is, when I work with other software, like in Max MSP program, I don’t know the proper name to call the geezbrhan keyman to use it as an independent structure of a standalone language, if there is a way to identify the geezbrhan soft.
For example, when I want to use the English keyboard, the Max soft requires the work “english” to refer to this language, the same with French, Italian.
To come the geezbrhan, what is the name or “code language” or the shortcut identification of geezbrhan to use this keyman to facilitate my work when I want to refer to this keyman. My expectation is to find a name reference to tell the system and ask to use the geezbrhan soft. I ask if there is a way, otherwise that is ok.
I appreciate any suggestions in regard of this matter.

Could you try Geez or geez? maybe that will work?

Hi Nyni,

from my activities, I expect the GeezBrhan works smoothly as the English or French source-fonts for this time with the Max apps.

The European language works smoothly and act properly.

  • I see the European fonts stick in the system easily while with the GeezBrhan font seems stranger, not suitable to the platform, it seems not be accepted as a font platform for as Max interacts with English.

  • my experiece is that this new font ia not recognized as a font but as an image. This condition make the GeezBrhan loose all the flexibility the European have. This happens when it is used on a single and group letter of the alphabets.

  • I am reacting on this matter for I think there might have some additional soft to make such comfortable structure related to source-fonts.

I can show you few interactions, but if the performance I want to see on GeezBrhan language is too high or rarely achievable, then let’s give time. Thanks for your input.

I don’t think this is related to the Keyman keyboards. It could be because the Max software doesn’t support the language properly?
