I recently downloaded the latest version of Dictionary app builder for Linux. There is an issue with entering text in the fields; I cannot enter any text in places where I am supposed to do so. I cannot even copy and paste on the text input fields.
What Linux flavor and version are you on? How did you do the install?

I use linux mint 19. I installed DAB maker from the sil repository using terminal. I didn’t had this issue before.
Okay I’ll pass this on. I may have time to test next week. But not this week.
There are many distributions and SIL Language Software has very limited resources. We create packages and test them on Ubuntu and Wasta Linux (which is a distribution created by an SIL member based on Ubuntu and tuned for linguistic work in a remote setting).
The app builders are built on Java so there is less change of idiosyncrasies in different distributions affecting the apps. It is more likely an issue with the Java SDK. On Linux, we use OpenJDK 8.
