We want to publish local books (up to a few hundred pages, bust mostly a few dozens of pages) in RAB so people can read or listen, or both. However, RAB does not remember the last position in a book, in the contents menu > contents settings you can only select “Go to the book the user was viewing previously”. Let’s say we have a thirty pages book that we break down into 20-30 chapters, users would need to remember the chapter number each time when they want to continue reading.
I see two options:
- If RAB could implement the SAB reading history feature, that could be a workaround: it will take readers directly to the chapter they last read.
- Better: In the contents settings, add a function “Go to the chapter the user was viewing previously”. It would be nice then to remember the exact audio position, but that may be too much to ask.
