No Bloom icon after new install

I’m posting this issue in case others have the same problem. We have just started a workshop and after installing Bloom 5.6.7 for the first time, some laptops have no Bloom icon on the desktop or in the Start menu. Bloom can only be launched by browsing to the AppData\Local\Bloom folder. This has happened on some Windows 10 and some Windows 11 laptops (but not all). The simple solution is to run the install file again and then the icon appears!

We have also noticed this when installing Bloom for the first time on computers in a workshop a few months ago. We shared this with Bloom Team.

If users already have Bloom installed with an earlier version, the icon is there already. So when the installer is run, the icon doesn’t need to be installed.

It happened with Bloom latest release and also Beta.

We ended up manually creating a shortcut to the Bloom program file and sharing that with users.
