.kmn keyboard

I have for years used a .kmn keyboard of my own and been very happy with it. I cannot get it to work with newer versions, It is not on the list of recognized types of files. How can I either:

  1. Change it into a valid .kmx file, or

  2. Set up Keyman10 or whatever old version I used to use.

?

Keyman Devleoper (Keyman Developer | Build custom keyboard layouts for desktop, web, phone and tablets) will allow you to compile a .kmn file into a .kmx file and to package that .kmx file in a Keyman package (.kmp) that contains supplemental data (language tag, fonts, help files) for installation on Windows, Mac, Linux.

On Keyman Developer Help Index there are Training videos (a few years old now), Language reference and (under “Keyman Developer”) some user guides.

In the past, Linux allowed the use of a .kmn file directly using KMFL. This may still work, but Keyman for Linux uses the same .kmp package file that other platforms use.
