Include document in app

Dictionary App Builder DAB Feature Requests

I see that with the Scripture App Builder, it is possible to include document files along with the other files to be included in the app. It would be nice to have this capability with Dictionary App Builder, too, so that an introduction to the dictionary could be included in the app.

That’s a great idea, Alanvogel. I think you can set the category of your post to “Feature Request” or so which makes it possible for other people to vote for your idea.

I changed it to a feature request.

This is already a requested enhancement #677 in DAB. I have added a link to this post to the existing request to add more weight to it.

I think it is a great idea. It is difficult putting dictionary front matter into the About page.

Also, when this capability is added to DAB, it would be good to be able to order the different parts. This way, if I have more than one document to add, I can order them. For example, I may want an introduction at the beginning and an appendix treating a particular semantic category at the end.
