Many keyboard they really have a good design but with a very poor touch layout.
Because the designer don’t know how to design a good layout. The default touch layout is almost just print the keyboard on your laptop to the phone screen, it can never be easy to use.
Can the keyman developer set the default keyboard as the keyboard iPhone or other major phone brand such as Google Pixel? Then we developer can make little changes on the touch layout.

Thank you for your suggestion. We do recommend using a phone-optimized layout in the touch layout tutorial.
It is possible in Keyman Developer to get a phone-optimized layout automatically, starting off by importing from the desktop layout. Here’s a quick video:
I agree this is not terribly intuitive and we could make it clearer and simpler. We’ll consider this as we work on rebuilding the keyboard editor in a future version.

I think the punctuation should be moved to the right hand side of space, instead of in the right hand side of m.
the second row letters and third row letters should lay on the middle. Now, they located a little bit in left hand side.
I think my vietnam keyboard have the touch layout most similar with iPhone keyboard.
I have adjusted my keyboard touch layout for over 6 months to reach the perfect keyboard set. Because a little bit of deviation will affect the user’s feeling.
Thanks for the feedback on the keyboard layout. I don’t think we’ll change the templates at this time, but we’ll take this feedback into account when we next look at this.
