How can I enter English translation of Example Sentence in WeSay?

I tried ticking the “show an editable translation field…” box in the “Add Example Sentences” task in the Configuration Tool, but that had no visible effect. What am I missing?

First, make sure that field you want is enabled:

Next, note that the translation only appears once there is something to translate:

Thanks, John. I’m pretty sure it was the first bit that I was missing. I’ll check tomorrow when I meet with the user I’m trying to help.
