We have two problems with the Reading App Builder:
Regarding the highlight jump, have you tried “fine-tuning” the synchronization and watching when the jump occurs? You can then adjust the timings to be correct. It sometimes occurs with music or sound effects in the audio. I would be happy to look at your project if you can post it somewhere for me to grab – share to andrew_shafe@sil.org
When you changed the images, did you modify them directly in the project’s data folder or add them (after removing / deleting the old ones). RAB will sometimes not update the image thumbnails you see in your project, but will display the correct ones once the app is built.
I’ve been working on updating the Building Apps document that accompanies Scripture App Builder, and translating it into French. RAB is a subset of SAB, and so many of the items will apply. Similarly, I help teach an SAB course in French that is an intensive, week-long course with homework. As it is for SAB, we do cover adding Scripture texts, but we also cover a lot of things that are pertinent to RAB, including making story books. The next course is at the end of April into the first week of May, so let me know if you’d like more info.

Yes, I tried it via Fine-Tuning. Some things could be solved.
In lesson 2, the cursor jumps back to a position further up. No idea why.
We had a problem with the timing right from the start. The numbering started with

1b
1c
The 1 seemed strange to me, and it wasn’t in the manual. We then changed everything by hand, i.e. 1a instead of 1, 1b instead of 1a etc. Then it largely worked.

15 (from heading 3)
17 (here it jumps from 1 directly to Sorfʋ)
18 (here it jumps from introduction to 4)

About the manual: Thank you for pointing out that SAB is available in French. As I have never done this, I did not know that.
What would help me in the manual: It explains step by step how to build the app. The app in question had errors in some places and I had to correct them. Sometimes (for example, when replacing the images) other or more steps were necessary. I lost a lot of time here or failed. If the handling of corrections could be included in the manual, that would help a lot.
I received a one-day introduction to RAB from a friend. I then made two songbook apps (my friend didn’t know how to do this, I managed it myself thanks to the very good description in the manual) - a sign that this is at a very good level. These apps work perfectly and are on Google Playstore.
A Burkinabé here made the other app I’m sending you. I hope I have added all the files. He did get a several day introduction on a private level after all. The person at SIL who is responsible for training at SIL couldn’t help us with our problem. That’s why training in French is very interesting for us. Please send us more information. The Burkinabé who made this app would very much like to take part. I probably don’t have time at the time. If there are other training courses, that would be interesting for me (whether in French or English)
