Help with User Interface Translation for New Language Chooser?

A new Language Chooser (demo) is coming to Bloom in 6.2 and we’re pretty excited about it. Soon we will ask you to play around with it and give us feedback, but for now, we’re looking for folks to help us translate the user interface into various languages.

Please do not leave feedback about the tool in this topic, this is just about translating the interface (known as “localization”).

Normally, Bloom “strings” may be translated via the SIL-Bloom project on Crowdin.com. However, since this component will eventually be used in multiple SIL applications, you won’t find these strings there. Instead, translation can be done in the SIL Common Libraries Crowdin project.

If you would like an invitation to contribute to either project, please reply here. In your offer, please let us know if you are a native speaker or not (we can use both). Thanks so much!

@Koen72 @Musie_Menna thanks for volunteering. You should receive two invitations in your email, one for Bloom-specific translation, and another for SIL “Common” translations.
