Greek Classical diacritical marks not working on MacBook Air

Hello,

I recently downloaded the Greek Classical Keyman keyboard along with the IFAO-Grec Unicode font. I can switch to the Greek Classical keyboard and type the basic alphabet, but I cannot get the diacritical marks to work. The documentation says that

a + ]

should give me an alpha with a ` mark on top. Instead, pressing “]” erases the alpha character! The same thing happens when I use “/” to make other marks.
Is this a bug or does this suggest incomplete setup?

Thanks,
Amy

Ι should edit now to add that I can get the diacritical marks to work in Pages, but they do not work in any Google produce (Gmail, Google Docs, etc.).

Welcome to the community @Amy_Mitby,

Thanks for reaching out to us! This is a strange behavior.

Is this the keyboard? We test this with macOS BigSur on MacBook Air and could replicate this behavior.

What is the version of Keyman you are using? Could you also give me your macOS specification as well?

I’m using macOS Sonoma 14.2, Greek Classical 1.2, Keyman keyman-17.0.328.dmg stable .

Update: I was able to get Keyman + IFAO-Grec Unicode font to work together in Pages and Safari, but not in any Google product (Google Docs, Google Chrome).

Thanks,
Amy
