Font Bundling Question (free but no reselling allowed)

Greetings,

A font developer wishes to contribute fonts for inclusion with a keyboard package. The fonts are copyrighted and can be used freely, but not resold without arrangement with the developer. A statement to this effect is embedded within the font files. Can the fonts be included within a keyboard package that would be hosted at the Keyman website, and reside in the keyboards github repo?

The font-internal license statement could be stated within the project README.md file, would this suffice for distribution compliance?

thanks!

-Daniel

No, sorry. We only allow fonts that have an unrestricted usage license such as the SIL Open Font License or more generically, MIT.

You can distribute such packages yourself outside the Keyman repo, however.
