Fifth Ge'ez letters with apostrophe

The fifth letters of the Ge’ez alphabet are supposed to be typed using the apostrophe. However,

  1. this only works for a handful of letters. Is there a fix or is there something I’m missing?
  2. the documentation (https://help.keyman.com/keyboard/gff_amharic/2.2/gff_amharic) calls them the sixth letters. Is it a typo?

Here is an image of which letters I’m referring to https://i.stack.imgur.com/15NLy.png

Welcome Wekaw Tirso! I think the fifth form is supposed to be typed with ie, so hie becomes ሄ. Is that working for you?

If you download the pdf from that help page, on page 2 there is a typing chart that you can download which should prove helpful. The apostrophe is used for when a 6th form should be followed by a vowel such as አ or ዕ.
