Does the license conditions apply to the case where the font will be used as a custom font in (as example) Visual Studio Code, but wont end up in a final commercial project of my own which is developed in such a software?

Hello! Using the font for your personal installation of VSCode does not affect the software you produce. You don’t need to include anything in your software.
