Converting Numpad Keys into Modifier Keys

I was wondering if I was able to convert my numpad keys into modifier keys, like AltGr, or Shift?
I currently have them as deadkeys and having to repetitively tap them whenever using them in long strings of text is cosmically tedious

Sorry, chording with keys other than the standard set of modifier keys is not supported in Keyman, and we don’t have plans to add support.

I think you should not use the numpad keys as modifier keys because people will run into trouble anytime they happen to use your keyboard on computers that don’t have numpad, for example, on some laptop computers.
