Center Staple A5 on A4 paper

When creating A5 books on A4 paper with a center staple, is there any way to make books so that the inner margin is not wider than the outer margin?

I’m finding that the cover page prints okay, but the inner book pages do not.

Do you have a sample to show what you mean?

When I print A5 books with A4 paper and a staple in the middle, the inner margins are equal.
