App crashing on Pixel 2

We would like to put our Dictionary built by the app on Google Play.

We built our app with Dictionary Builder version 5.3 (Build Release 14) and submitted it via the Google Play dashboard.

However, they rejected the submission because the app crashes on Pixel 2 (Android versions 8.1 and 9).

Basic error message: java.lang.StackOverflowError: stack size 8MB

I can provide full logs, video, etc. Not sure this forum is the right place to do that, but do let me know!

Is this a known issue with version 5.3?

Can you share the items you mentioned in Google Drive or Dropbox (or some file sharing service) along with the steps to reproduce? You can send me (and @Ian_McQuay) a private message through the community.

DAB version 6.0 is out with much improved search speeds. It would be good to update to 6.0 and see if it is still an issue.

Tried to message you, but seems pretty locked down - I can’t upload .txt files (unsupported) and when I try to include a link to the logs in the cloud, I get an error saying that new users can’t include links.

For now, I will try updating to Version 6 as Ian suggested. Let me know if there is some other way I can get this info to you.
